Readers should be aware that there are two Parion Hotels now and some of the reviews here are mixed with the older hotel which is a five star hotel of a much better quality.
The hotel we stayed at is very central near the main Ferry Terminal. As a location this is in an excellent position. However, our booking came about as a result of a mix up with another hotel who were anxious to get us booked in somewhere.
We arrived at midnight. Reception consists of a desk in a small glass fronted lobby area. You have to lug your baggage up one flight of stairs to a mini elevator which then takes you to the required floor. Even then, those on the final floor have to lug their cases up another floor once again to reach their room.
Our room was on the roof and whilst OK in terms of general cleanliness but one of the pillow cases was not very clean. The room was stuffy and airless. When you opened the door to what should probably have been a balcony you find that the balcony exists but has been enclosed by a tin roof so there is absolutely no view whatsoever from this enclosed and stuffy little bunker.
Everything else in the hotel works well enough but we were pretty happy to vacate it in the morning and move to the hotel that we had booked. Breakfast was fairly mediocre by Turkish standards with some of the selection having run out and not been replaced even at 8:30 am in the morning.
This hotel does not really deserve the star rating that it has. It would not be my choice again if staying in Canakkale.

Also part of Accor, Pullman targets premium business/leisure travellers and has presence in Türkiye.
With brands such as Radisson Blu, Park Inn etc., Radisson has been growing its footprint in Türkiye with both city and resort properties.
Ramada is an international hotel brand under Wyndham Hotels & Resorts that has a strong presence in Türkiye. The brand covers a range of segments from upscale city-business hotels to resort holiday properties.
I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that it was a little over priced. We almost made the mistake of checking in to the 3* Yayoba Hotel just up the road which wanted 180 lira for room only accommodation.
The Ramada is set on a hillside in an impressive location overlooking the city of Tekirdagi. With its own landscaped gardens and easy parking this 5* hotel is quite clearly the better choice. With no prior reservation we checked in for 220 which included a full continental or cooked breakfast.
Check in was slick and professional and the lobby area spacious and well presented. They did initially offer us a smoking room but as any non smoker will know it stank of stale tobacco smoke despite obvious efforts made with air freshener to rectify it. We immediately requested another room and this was organized without any problem.
The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. With everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms have air conditioning and a balcony. Being out of town and set back off the highway surrounded only by fields you are pretty much guaranteed a good nights sleep here.
The breakfast is where the Ramada excels. They have clearly put considerable effort into making sure that guests get a 5 star breakfast. With a choice of continental or cooked and almost every conceivable type of cheese or Turkish breakfast variable, they made sure that there is something here for all tastes.
Ramada in the UK is generally associated with mid range business travelers lodgings with a communal lounge and a small clean room with a laminate floor and TV. However, if you want to see how Ramada organize an upmarket location then this would be a good one to try out.
The staff here are very accommodating and friendly. The hotel has a decent Wi-Fi for business travelers and the rooms have all the necessary creature comforts that you would expect of a quality hotel.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

Although now globally active, Rixos is originally a Turkish luxury hotel brand, known for high-end resort properties in Türkiye and abroad.
The Sato Pension is perched on a hill just off the main waterfront. The narrow cobbled roads are difficult to negotiate with a car but there is parking once you manage to find the pension. Personally I would recommend parking in the car park below on the main street and paying the 5 lira fee and then walking up to the pension although the elderly might find this a little difficult due to the steep inclines.
The house is a lovely renovated property with its own courtyard. The rooms are very traditionally Turkish as is the decor but you still benefit from air conditioning if needed. Try and get a room with its own balcony if you can. It is nice to be able to walk out of your room and have breakfast on the balcony in the mornings looking out over the Aegean sea.
The breakfasts here are excellent and Fatma the owner is an outstanding example of what Turkish hospitality is all about. You really are made to feel welcome here. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the toilet / bathroom is shared as you would expect in most pensions.
It is worth taking the time to wander around all the little cobbled streets near the pension and to see some of the old buildings and traditional lifestyles of local folk.
Please remember what you paid for this accommodation. You are not staying in a 5 star hotel and you did not pay 5 star prices. You are staying in someones home and you will share their home with them during your stay. That is what makes a pension so special.
Close to city centre. Budget Hotel. Very good especially the breakfast.
This really is an excellent hotel. Situated just outside of Sinop on its own sandy beach, this boutique hotel has comfortable rooms, excellent staff and great breakfasts.
This is a delightful small hotel in a reasonably quiet area of Ayvalik. You are not near the centre of the town so this is an ideal place to stay so long as you have your own transport. You can park near the hotel but there is no dedicated parking as such.
The rooms are well maintained and very clean and tidy. Everything works as it should and the general accommodation is to a good standard. We had a room on the third floor and although there is an elevator in the building it appeared to have been out of action or not in use. At the rear of the building there is a terrace where breakfast is served.
We were surprised to find that breakfast was served from 09:30 am onwards which is a little late but the breakfast was absolutely fine and just right. The staff are friendly and helpful and I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment for your stay in Ayvalik.
