BMC Otomotiv is one of Turkey’s most historic and significant commercial vehicle makers, producing heavy and light trucks, buses, and military vehicles. Their “Tuğra” series covers various kinds of trucks (long haul, construction, etc.), and they also make city and intercity buses. BMC has a strong export footprint (to ~80 countries) and a large production capacity.
Otokar, part of the Koç Group, manufactures a broad range of commercial vehicles — from buses (mini, city, intercity) to light trucks. Their Sakarya plant produces both buses and the “Atlas” series of light trucks.
TEMSA (Temsa Skoda Sabancı Ulaşım Araçları) is a leading Turkish bus and light-truck manufacturer, with its production plant in Adana. It builds a wide variety of buses (intercity, city, coaches) and light commercial trucks.
