Seytan Sofrasi or is a hilltop to the south of Ayvalik. It is popular for its stunning views and memorable sunsets. From this vantage point you can see the surrounding islands including the Greek island of Midilli.
Called the Devil’s Table because of the shape of the hill looking like a table from a distance, this can get quite busy in the summer months and it is popular with local and foreign tourists alike. There are cafes and a restaurant on the plateau.
Satan’s Feast or Şeytan Sofrası in Turkish, is just 8km from Ayvalik. From this vantage point you can see all of the islands of Ayvalik spread out before you. The views from this hilltop are spectacular and the evening sunsets are legendary. It has become very commercialised of late but head up there an hour before sunset and you won’t regret it.
