Mekap Deri ve Ayakkabı Sanayi A.Ş., commonly known simply as Mekap, was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Trabzon, Turkey. The company became one of Turkey’s first to use a polyurethane (PU) injection system to produce footwear. Over the years, it has evolved from casual and sporty shoes into a major producer of occupational safety footwear, under its Mekap Pro brand.
