I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that it was a little over priced. We almost made the mistake of checking in to the 3* Yayoba Hotel just up the road which wanted 180 lira for room only accommodation.

The Ramada is set on a hillside in an impressive location overlooking the city of Tekirdagi. With its own landscaped gardens and easy parking this 5* hotel is quite clearly the better choice. With no prior reservation we checked in for 220 which included a full continental or cooked breakfast.

Check in was slick and professional and the lobby area spacious and well presented. They did initially offer us a smoking room but as any non smoker will know it stank of stale tobacco smoke despite obvious efforts made with air freshener to rectify it. We immediately requested another room and this was organized without any problem.

The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms spotlessly clean. With everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms have air conditioning and a balcony. Being out of town and set back off the highway surrounded only by fields you are pretty much guaranteed a good nights sleep here.

The breakfast is where the Ramada excels. They have clearly put considerable effort into making sure that guests get a 5 star breakfast. With a choice of continental or cooked and almost every conceivable type of cheese or Turkish breakfast variable, they made sure that there is something here for all tastes.

Ramada in the UK is generally associated with mid range business travelers lodgings with a communal lounge and a small clean room with a laminate floor and TV. However, if you want to see how Ramada organize an upmarket location then this would be a good one to try out.

The staff here are very accommodating and friendly. The hotel has a decent Wi-Fi for business travelers and the rooms have all the necessary creature comforts that you would expect of a quality hotel.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.
